India’s Independence Day celebrated in Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) - The Indian Embassy in Vietnam on Wednesday hosted a ceremony to celebrate the 71st anniversary of India’s Independence Day, August 15.

Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Harish Parvathaneni said ASEAN is the center of India’s Act East Policy, and Vietnam is a pillar of the group. He said he believes the bilateral relationship will flourish.
Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung said Vietnam is proud to have India as its loyal friend. He said he believes in a bright future relationship benefiting the people and global peace and stability.
