It proposed that one flight per week be reopened to Guangzhou, China; Seoul, South Korea; Tokyo, Japan; Taiwan, China; Vientiane, Laos; and Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

At that rate, Vietnam would receive 2,500 to 3,000 passengers per week.

The first flight is expected to take off in early August.
