(VOVworld) – 12 members of the World Master Chefs Society will join an international food festival in Hoi An from March 14 to 20.

Nguyen Van Son, Vice-chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, said they will randomly choose a restaurant in the city, in which to show off their talent during the week-long event. He added that this will be an opportunity for the city to promote its tourism and culture: “In addition to refurbishing cultural relic sites, Hoi An is focusing on the preservation of its cultural values including its cuisine. The international chefs will help Hoi An diversify its dishes.”
