International visitors to Hue increase 40% in Q1
(VOVWORLD) - Thua Thien-Hue province welcomed more than 890,000 tourists in the first quarter, an increase of 40% over the same period last year, with international visitors increasing 75%.

To attract tourists, Thua Thien-Hue is focusing on summer festivals like Hue Festival 2024.
Travel agencies are promoting the new train route called the 'Central Heritage Connection,' linking Hue City with nearby Da Nang city. Local authorities are supporting investors to speed up the completion of tourism projects like the Con Son eco-resort and tourism complex and the boat wharf in Thuy Bieu ward.
“We will support the promotion of activities at heritage areas and other major attractions managed by the Department of Tourism to encourage visitors to learn more about, and spend more time in Hue,” said Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the provincial Department of Tourism.
