(VOVWORLD) - A senior Iranian military commander confirmed that Tehran recently carried out a medium range ballistic missile test, the Fars news agency said on Tuesday.
Earlier this month, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Iran had test-fired a missile capable of carrying multiple warheads and reaching the Middle East or Europe.
Revolutionary Guard division head Amirali Hajizadeh, according to Fars, said Tehran will continue its missile tests and this recent action was an important test.
