(VOVworld) - At least 30 people have been killed and 65 people were wounded after a suicide bomber blew himself up near a football field in Al-Asriya village, 40 kilometers south of Baghdad.

The police said the attack happened at 9 p.m of local time as they were just handing the trophy to the winners, the suicide attacker blew himself up in the crowd. A medic at Iskandariyah hospital confirmed the toll and warned it could rise further. The jihadist IS group claimed responsibility for the attack.
