(VOVworld) – The so-called Islamic State has released a video that purportedly shows the two men who killed a priest in a French church pledging allegiance to IS.

The footage, posted Wednesday on the news website Amaq, shows two young men pledging allegiance to IS while holding the IS flag.
On Tuesday, French police killed two kidnappers at Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, near Rouen city in the Normandy region of Northern France. The church attack came just two weeks after a truck attack in the city of Nice, leaving France at its highest security alert level.
