Egypt on Sunday criticized an Israeli air raid which targeted Syria. Meanwhile, the Arab League asked the UN to end Israeli attacks targeting Syria. Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi said the Israeli air raids “have violated international law”. The Syrian government said the Israeli air raid inside Syria’s territory is a “flagrant violation of international law” which has endangered the Middle East. British Foreign Secretary William Hague said Israeli air attacks on Syria threaten regional peace and called for lifting the weapons blockade on Syria’s opposition forces.
