Israeli Army enters second phase of ground operation in Gaza
(VOVWORLD) - At a press conference with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said the Israel Defense Forces is moving into the second phase of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

Gallant said the IDF remained on the western side but are also maneuvering to the east. Israel’s attacks have taken Hamas' headquarters, tunnels, and bunkers while Hamas commanders are injured and thousands of militants have been killed in recent weeks and days.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said Israel will pursue all members of Hamas, including those outside of the Gaza Strip.
Also on Saturday, prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Kahn said he had received a joint request from five countries to investigate into "the situation in the State of Palestine" for Israel’s alleged war crimes committed since June 13, 2014. Prosecutor Karim Kahn said the referral had come from South Africa, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Comoros, and Djibouti.
