Italian businesses want to invest in Vietnam

(VOVworld) – Businesses from Liguria, Italy, want to learn about Vietnam’s policies on tax, intellectual property rights, and human resources. They asked questions about these topics at a recent trade promotion meeting co-organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy, the Genoa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association in Liguria.

Ambassador Cao Chinh Thien said Vietnam and Italy should focus on trade and investment cooperation and via Vietnam, Italian investors can expand their businesses to other ASEAN countries.
President of the Genoa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Paolo Odone, said an Italian business delegation will visit Vietnam late this year to survey trade opportunities.
