Japan funds Vietnam’s education, health care projects

(VOVWORLD) - The Japanese Government will provide over 400,000 USD in non-refundable aid for five projects in health care and education in Vietnam under contracts signed in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday.

The money will be spent on building classrooms at primary schools in Dac Nong and Ninh Thuan provinces. It will also be used for the construction of a health infirmary in Ninh Thuan province and purchase of medical equipment for health centers in Long An province.

The Japanese Consul General said he hoped that once completed, the five projects will help improve living conditions of local residents in Ho Chi Minh City.
