Japan helps Vietnam upgrade primary schools

(VOV) - The Japanese government has agreed to provide more than 243,000 USD in non-refundable aid for a project to upgrade two primary schools in Bac Giang and Thai Nguyen provinces. Two non-refundable aid packages were signed at the Japanese Embassy in Hanoi on Wednesday. Under the plan, 120,000 USD will be given to Ngoc Son primary school in Bac Giang, and 123,000 USD to Duong Thanh primary school in Thai Nguyen. Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yasuaki Tanizaki said the projects are a bridge of friendship between the Vietnamese and Japanese people.
