Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Vietnam Le Van Nghia said that Uzbekistan, a country of 40 million people, has seen fast economic growth and increasing travel demand. He added Khanh Hoa province with its advantage of sea and islands will attract a lot of Uzbek tourists from if it is well advertised along with the organization of direct flights.

Vice Chairman of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Tourism Association Pham Minh Nhut said that amid disrupted traditional large-scale international tourist market, Khanh Hoa urgently looks for a new replacement market for the recovery of this key economic sector. Khanh Hoa province will reach out to the Indian market, a market with a large population and increasing tourism demand, he said.

“The Indian market has a lot of potential. A promotion program will be held in Nha Trang in August and a yoga program in June to offset other markets. The number of Indian visitors is still modest. Now, we do promotion, we have research on their culture, there is a lot of hope. The Indian market I think will develop,” according to Mr. Nhut.
