K-Pop star donates money to mangrove forest proejct in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - K-Pop star Jisoo from Blackpink will donate all of the money she earned from her YouTube channel to a project by NGO “Save the Children” to help develop mangrove forests in the southern province of Ca Mau, South Korean media reported on Tuesday.

Jisoo currently has 4.99 million subscribers on her YouTube channel “Happiness Jisoo 103%.”
The singer launched her YouTube channel in early 2023 and said she intended to donate all of its revenue to places that need it more than she does. 
Jisoo, whose real name is Kim Ji Soo, was born in 1995 and rose to fame with her four-member K-Pop group BlackPink, alongside her solo singing, acting, and MC career.
