The flood caused by the Sepien Senamnoi hydropower dam collapse affects about local 1,300 households.

Mr. Thongloun promised a thorough, just, and transparent investigation. The 410-MW capacity hydro plant is a joint venture by SK Engineering and Construction and Korea Western Power of South Korea, Thailand’s Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding, and Lao Holding State Enterprise.

The dam of the 1.2 billion USD project gave way last Monday, leaving more than 100 people dead or missing.
