(VOVworld) - General Secretary of the Laos People’s Revolutionary Party Chummaly Saynhasone hosted a reception on Thursday for a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation led by Party’s Politburo member and National Assembly Vice-Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong. Delegates are in Laos for the inauguration of a memorial complex for President Ho Chi Minh in Xiangvang village, Nongnouk district, Khammouane province.

Saynhasone, who is also the President of Laos, warmly welcomed the visit, saying Laos considers the memorial complex a valuable asset for both countries. He added that the Laotian State, Party, and people will do their utmost to nurture Vietnam-Laos solidarity, friendship, and cooperation.
