(VOVWORLD) - Senior Party and State leaders on Monday met with local voters to inform them of the results of the National Assembly's year-end meeting.

Meeting voters in Son La province, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong asked them to strengthen unity to promote local socio-economic growth and ensure social security and national defense. She also presented 13,000 USD to poor people in Yen Chau district.
In Dong Nai province, head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Vo Van Thuong told voters that the Party and State have been particularly aggressive in the campaign to eliminate corruption, adding that the campaign needs public oversight to succeed.
Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh told voters in Long An that the government will take further actions to realize the socio-economic goals set for next year and the year to come.
The same day, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue met with voters in Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province.
