At an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the plane’s disappearance, Loke said his presence at the event signified the Malaysian Government’s support and compassion for the families of the victims, and said he will urge the Cabinet to contract with the Ocean Infinity company to resume the search. The Malaysian government is ready to discuss another “no find, no fee” arrangement.

On Sunday, 500 relatives and supporters gathered in Kuala Lumpur to mark the 10th anniversary of the event. Many relatives continue to appeal to the Malaysian Government to resume search efforts.

The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 was a tragic incident that occurred on March 8, 2014, when the Boeing 777, en route from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia to Beijing Capital International Airport in China, disappeared with 239 aboard.

The majority of experts believe that MH370 went down in the southern Indian Ocean. However, despite a campaign lasting more than three years and costing at least 200 million USD, very few traces of the plane have been found.
