Meeting to mark Dien Bien Phu victory in Ho Chi Minh city
(VOVworld) – A meeting of former soldiers of the Dien Bien Phu campaign was held in Ho Chi Minh city on Sunday.
Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan attended the meeting, which provided an opportunity for the war veterans to visit each other and recall their youth. The Liaison Committee of former Dien Bien Phu soldiers in Ho Chi Minh city was established in 1994 with 400 members who have been actively engaged in humanitarian activities in Ho Chi Minh city and adjacent areas.
