(VOVworld) – Foreign Ministers attending the meeting of the Southern American Common Market MERCOSUR in Paraguay’s Asuncion capital on Sunday highlighted the importance of enhancing trade, services, and goods exchanges.
They recalled the bloc’s initial targets of promoting internal trade and services.
The Ministers also discussed the establishment of an agency in charge of resolving the bloc’s disputes and issues relating to the free trade negotiation between MERCOSUR and the EU. The delegates agreed that the election results in Argentina and Venezuela have illustrated regional democracy.
