(VOVworld) – On Saturday, the Vietnamese embassy held a ceremony to review cooperation between Mexican city of Toluca and the central city of Da Nang.

Vietnamese ambassador to Mexico Le Linh Lan spoke highly of the significance of the cooperation between the two cities as Vietnam and Mexico are celebrating the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties. Ms. Lan said the cooperation between Da Nang and Toluca, two dynamic economic centers, is a practical activity to foster ties and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and Mexico. Da Nang was selected to be the host for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum in 2017. Mayor of Toluca city Braulio Antonia Alvarez Jasso pledged to make full use of opportunities from cooperation with other countries including Vietnam to build Toluca a more developed city.
