(VOVworld) – 1,000 gifts were given to poor children at a Mid-autumn festival held in Thanh Tri district, Hanoi, on Wednesday night. At the event, the children enjoyed music, art performances, and lion dancing.

Many localities in the Southern province of Soc Trang held Mid-autumn day activities for children.

On Wednesday, Thai Nguyen province’s People’s Committee held a Mid-autumn  program with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, and 400 local children. The children took part in lion dancing, a lantern parade, and a Mid-autumn banquet. 400 gifts were given to poor children with excellent academic achievement.
