At an ongoing session in Hanoi on Friday, legislators discussed the revised Law on Public Debt Management. They stressed the need to delegate power and identify responsibility of agencies in charge of the sector. Some suggested that the revision include regulations on other ministries and ministerial-level agencies to work with the Ministry of Finance on managing public debt.

Earlier the same day, the National Assembly heard a verification report on the plan to build sections of highway along the North-South road before 2020.
