(VOVworld)-The Ministry of Public Security has proposed reducing jail terms for nearly 25,000 prisoners on the occasion of the 71st National Day (September 2).

According to the General Department of Criminal Sentence Enforcement and Judicial Assistance of the Public Security Ministry, the proposal and prisoners’ records have been submitted to People’s Courts at cities and provinces where prisons are located for consideration.
