(VOVworld) – Two more deaths and one new infection with the MERS were reported in South Korea on Thursday, raising the death toll to 29 and 180 cases of contagion.

The South Korean Health Ministry said the newly infected person was at the same hospital ward with a MERS patient in the southern city of Busan. 77 of the 180 MERS infections are being treated at hospitals and most of them are now in stable health condition. 74 infections have been discharged from hospital after they fully recovered.
