(VOVworld)- More than 60 people were killed and over 140 others wounded on Saturday in a wave of bombings attacks mostly in the capital Baghdad ’s Shiite Muslim areas as Iraqis were celebrating the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. In the northern city of Tuz Khurmatu , some 170 km north of Baghdad , a suicide attack killed 10 people and wounded 45 others. The United States on Saturday condemned the perpetrators of deadly attacks in Iraq as “enemies of Islam. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki,  reiterated the US$10 million award offered for al-Qaeda in Iraq ’s purported leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who is believed to be sheltering in Syria . She said that the terrorists who committed these acts are enemies of Islam and a shared enemy of the United States , Iraq , and the international community.
