Chairman Hue asked the ambassadors to work harder to strengthen Vietnam’s foreign affairs position, ensure a peaceful environment, and leverage external resources to support Vietnam’s development goals.

The Chairman stressed the need to promote forecasting and strategic research, think innovatively to adapt quickly to emerging trends, and provide new policy initiatives to the Party and State.

Mr. Hue also emphasized the need to promote strong, enduring relationships with other countries and enhance political trust through more exchanges of delegations at all levels, across sectors, and through multiple channels of communication.

He called for the ratification of the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) to create favorable conditions for investment activities, expressing his hope that the ambassadors will play a role in implementing the Party’s policy on multilateral external relations, supporting Vietnamese citizens abroad, and mobilizing resources for national development.
