(VOV) – Vietnam and Uruguay should step up their cooperation in science, technology, and other fields. NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung made the suggestion Tuesday in Hanoi while receiving visiting Uruguayan Vice President Danilo Astori, who is also President of the General Assembly and the Chamber of Senators.

Hung said he hopes the two legislative bodies will strengthen delegation exchanges and maintain their fine cooperation at multilateral forums. Astori pledged to make every effort to promote relations between the two law-making bodies.
