Mrs. Ngan appreciated the fine traditional relationship between Vietnam and Myanmar, especially the elevation of bilateral ties to Comprehensive Cooperative Partnership during Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to Myanmar in 2017.

She affirmed Vietnam’s consistent policy of enhancing cooperation with Myanmar for the interest of both countries. She expected Myanmar to facilitate Vietnamese businesses’ long-term operation in the country, particularly in banking, petroleum, and telecommunications.

Mrs. Suu Kyi said she supported cooperation between the two legislatures as they are top agencies in reform and representing the people in national development. Both National Assemblies will organize further exchanges of experience between female deputies in the future.
