Ms. Ngan praised the Vietnamese expats for contributing to the Vietnam-Morocco relationship. She asked the Embassy to guide Vietnamese associations and organizations in Morocco to abide by the local law and to help foster friendship between the two countries. She said: “Diplomacy should pave the way for economics and culture. Community work is one of diplomacy’s important missions. The Vietnamese community here is small but requires more attention. I think we must try to establish embassies or at least local representatives wherever there are Vietnamese people. I’m glad that Vietnamese people abroad are teaching the Vietnamese language and traditions to their children.”

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan arrived on Wednesday at Rabat-Salé Airport, Morocco, for an official visit to Morocco.
