NA Standing Committee to convene 32nd session from April 15

(VOVWORLD) -The 32nd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will open on April 15 and run on April 16, 17, 19 and morning of April 22 in Hanoi. Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue will deliver the opening speech and together with the NA Vice Chairpersons take turns to preside over the session.

At the upcoming session, the Standing Committee will give opinions on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Pharmacy Law; Cultural Heritage Law project (amended); Juvenile Justice Law project; Value Added Tax Law project (amended); and Urban Planning and Rural Planning Law project.

Full-time deputies also gave opinions on the expected Law and Ordinance Building Program for 2025, and the adjustment of the Law and Ordinance Building Program for 2024.

The Standing Committee will review and comment on reports and monitoring results of some activities of the National Assembly; give opinions on a number of reports deciding other important issues.

Participants will also discuss preparations for the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly (scheduled to open in May 2024); reorganization of the Information Technology Center into the Department of Information Technology and Audit Data under the State Audit.
