During the upcoming 23-day session, legislators are scheduled  to pass nine bills and give opinions on eight bills, and decide on socio-economic issues and state budget in 2023 and 2024.

They will release mid-term evaluation reports on the implementation of the five-year plans until 2025 on socio-economic development, economic restructuring, medium-term public investment, national finance and borrowing, and public debt repayment.

The Secretary General of the National Assembly and Chairman of the NA Office Bui Van Cuong announced the results of the 5th session, pointing out shortcomings such as the slow progress of making some laws and some answers of the deputies’ questions just beat around the bush without really giving effective solutions to solve problems.

In his closing remarks, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue asked the Standing Committee to finalize the Resolution on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels until 2030 and well prepare for the organization of a full-time National Assembly deputies meeting in August.
