(VOVworld) – Law makers today approved the Draft Law on Fire Prevention and Control with a unanimous vote. Earlier, they listened to National Assembly reports on deputies’ opinions and recommendations for amendments and supplements to the law.
Head of the National Assembly Committee for National Defense and Security Nguyen Kim Thoa said that during discussions on this topic, many deputies suggested that investors in construction projects equip and maintain their own fire trucks. They also urged organizations and individuals working in industrial zones establish special fire-fighting teams, with specific criteria set out for these teams. Deputies also discussed the implementation of laws and resolutions approved at the 13^th National Assembly meeting.
