(VOVworld) – The 8^th session of the Ha Tinh provincial People’s Council will discuss various important issues relating to socio-economic development, security, and national defense from 2011 to 2013.

Taking place from Monday to Wednesday, the session will also identify major targets for next year. Speaking at the session, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung urged Ha Tinh province to step up efforts on the new rural development program and promote its leading agricultural role in the northern central region.
He asked Ha Tinh province to strengthen its administration at all levels, reinforce unity, and continuously improve the quality of its personnel. Hung said Ha Tinh should focus on spearhead industries, attract investors to the Vung Ang economic zone, promote trade and services, and push ahead administrative reform.
