National Assembly deputies will question pressing issues

(VOVworld) – The Q&A session of the National Assembly will be held on Monday and continue until November 19. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and the Ministers of Industry and Trade, Transport, Home Affairs, Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs will be questioned by the deputies.

Bui Van Xuyen, a deputy from Thai Binh province, said: “I will ask about economic development, agricultural issues and rural development. I will also focus on administrative reform, which has been slow.”

Le Nam, a deputy from Thanh Hoa province, said: “Pressing issues are in the area under the management of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. We have too many policies but the labor productivity remains low. I want to know why and how we can deal with this problem. That’s the question I think the Minister must answer to the deputies.”

Chairman of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said prior to the hearing, Minister of Transport Dinh La Thang has received many queries in writing about transport infrastructure and measures to minimize traffic accidents. He will also answer questions concerning business in transportation and the control of loading capacity.

The hearing of Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang will focus on ways to develop support industries and manufacturing, control the market, and prevent counterfeiting and smuggling.
