Tran Ba Dung, Chief of the Professional Department of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, said this year’s entries exceed last year’s entries by 225. Dung said most of the entries are news items, reports, interviews, series, and documentaries.“This year has seen a dramatic increase in the number of entries. The highest number is in the print category: 354 entries.”
