(VOVworld) - A new app called ‘My European Union’ was released Wednesday in Hanoi by the delegation of the European Union (EU) in Vietnam to provide Vietnamese people with information about the EU.

The app, part of a series of events to mark the 25^th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between the EU and Vietnam, is intended for use on smart phones and tablets, providing an overview of the EU and its cultural activities in Vietnam. The head of the EU delegation, Franz Jessen, reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to building a closer partnership with Vietnam. With the app, the EU comes closer to the Vietnamese people and mutual understanding will increase, Jessen said.
