(VOVworld)- Provinces and cities in the southeastern, south-central and central highlands regions have made remarkable achievements in implementing the national target program on new rural development over the past 3 years. Speaking at meeting to review the program in Da Lat city on Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh praised the localities’ efforts in effectively implementing central and local policies thus improving the development of rural areas and people’s living conditions. Ninh said: “We should focus on discussing the Party leader ship, the role of Party committees and local administrations and their cooperation with people in building new rural areas. Models on production restructuring, constraints on implementing the program and lessons learned should also be touched upon at this meeting”.
