Great progresses were made during President Sang’s visits. Hungary wanted to increase trade turnover and export items in addition to traditional goods such as pharmaceutical and agricultural products. Denmark reconfirmed its commitment to implement the strategy on market growth for Vietnam, one of the 10 most potential economies in the world. Vietnamese businesses signed many cooperative agreements with their Danish partners in such areas as building materials, green technology application, finance and banking. Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh said: “President Truong Tan Sang’s visits were to realize the foreign policy of 11th National Party Congress, which intends to strengthen the relationship with traditional friends. Hungary and Denmark are our traditional friends. There has been a political trust, which serves as a foundation to boost ties in other areas especially in the current period when Vietnam is set to becoming an industrialized nation by 2020. Advantages of Hungary and Denmark will serve our goal of industrialization and modernization”.
