(VOVworld) – The 24^th meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place early next week. Committee members are expected to discuss a number of major issues. These include amendments and supplements to the Law on Health Insurance, the revised Law on Marriage and Family, the Law on foreigners' entry, exit, and stay in Vietnam, supplements to the Law on domestic water traffic, the revised Customs Law, and the revised Law on Bankruptcy.

They will also contribute opinions on the revised Law on the National Assembly Organization which was submitted to the National Assembly at its 7^th session as well as the draft Ordinance on the procedures and decision-making process on the enforcement of administrative penalties at the People’s Court.
During this meeting, the Committee is scheduled to approve a program on external activities for National Assembly agencies in 2014 and discuss concrete plans for government bond allocation from now until 2016.
