Nghe An Vissai international seaport inaugurated

Covering more than 400 ha, the port is invested by the Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company of the Nghe An Vissai Cement Group. Comprising of one international and one domestic dock, the port can receive ships of from 30,000 to 70,000 tons. Party Secretary of Nghe An province Nguyen Dac Vinh said the Nghe An Vissai International port is an important gateway for goods exchanges between Nghe An and other provinces and cities in Vietnam and other countries. He said the operation of the deep-water sea port will create momentum for local socio-economic growth.
