North Korea on Sunday blamed the US for all tensions on the Korean Peninsula, and called on Washington to make a practical move towards peace. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted the “Rodong Sinmun” of North Korea’s Workers’ Party as saying that the US is the main perpetrator of escalating tension on the Korean Peninsula. If the US really wants peace and security in the Korean Peninsula, they must take practical measures to end armament and war threats in stead of making rhetoric statement”. Previously, North Korea’s Ambassador to UN Sin Son Ho called on the UN and US to lift sanctions against North Korea. However, US has rejected this call.
