North Korea launches missiles: South Korean official

(VOVWORLD) - Yonhap News quoted the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Republic of Korea (JCS) as saying that North Korea has fired two projectiles into the sea on Thursday. 

A JCS official told AFP that Seoul and Washington are analyzing the incident. He said the projectiles are missiles, the first one flied 430 kilometers and the other traveled a bit further. The Japanese Defense Minister confirmed the firing, saying the projectiles did not reach Japanese waters, calling Pyongyang's move "extremely regrettable".
