(VOVworld) - Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Vinh has stressed that Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s speech at the 12th Shangri-La Dialogue was highly appreciated. Speaking to reporters about the outcome of the Prime Minister's visit to Singapore from May 31 to June 1,   Vinh said the Singaporean President and Prime Minister as well as heads of participating countries and world media praised Prime Minister Dung’s speech, which sent an important message of building strategic trust for peace, cooperation and prosperity in the Asia Pacific region. Vinh said during the visit, the Vietnamese Prime Minister met with Singaporean President Tony Tan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. The two sides discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation and organize activities to mark the 40th anniversary  of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties. They agreed to sign document to raise the Vietnam-Singapore relationship to strategic partnership during Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long’s visit to Vietnam later this year.
