Saturday’s program is sponsored by the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs and the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Europe.

“The highlight of the show will be a journey back to Hanoi made by a young Vietnamese-Czech man. He will join artists at Dong Xuan market to sing Xam songs, which formerly were exclusively performed by blind people in public places,” Pham Gia Hau, Chairman of the Vietnamese Culture and Arts Association in the Czech Republic, told VOV.

Singer Thu Ha from Germany said: “I will sing a song written by my father, General Do Van Phuc. I was born in Hanoi but have been living far away from the capital for 33 years. Performing ‘Forever remember Hanoi’ at the iconic Hanoi Opera House will be an unforgettable memory in my life”.
