The Head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Truong Thi Mai, met representatives of the Muslim communities in Ninh Thuan, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday. She praised the contributions made by the Muslim community in national development and called for more joint efforts in patriotism, poverty reduction and national unity. She expected more promotion of traditional Muslim cultural values and contribution to national unity.

In another development, the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission and the Ethnicity Committee have promoted the communications of Party and State policies and guidelines on ethnic issues. Addressing a conference to review 5 years implementation of the joint program on Wednesday, Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission, Truong Thi Mai, asked for more bilateral cooperation in social economic development, patriotic movement and compliance with laws and regulations. At the event, the two agencies signed a cooperative program from 2016 to 2020.
