(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong begins an official visit to Indonesia from today to Thursday at the invitation of Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

His visit aims to strengthen political trust, consolidate friendship and boost cooperation, deepening the two countries’ strategic partnership.
After Indonesia, he will begin an official visit to Myanmar from August 24 to 26 at the invitation of Myanmar President Htin Kyaw.
