Party leader chairs meeting on corruption prevention and control
(VOVworld) – On Monday Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong chaired the 9th session of the Central Steering Committee on Corruption Prevention in Hanoi.

The committee reviewed achievements made since the previous session, corruption prevention activities during 2015 and orientations and tasks for 2016. The delegates highlighted the positive results of corruption prevention activities in 2015. Discussions also focused on reviewing the committee’s activities over the past 3 years as well as key programs for 2016. In his address, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong stressed the need to include the Party resolution on Party building in reviewing anti-corruption activities. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said:“We need to strengthen the fight against corruption to achieve better results in 2016. According to a survey by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education, corruption remains one of the issues that most concern the public. This is a long, difficult and complicated fight that requires all of us to be more resolute”.
