(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong called on Kon Tum to continue reform of thinking, leadership method, and working style and mobilize the entire political system and people to steer the province to more rapid and sustainable development.

At Friday’s working session with key leaders of Kon Tum, the Party leader suggested the province develop border economy and trade with Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar. He also urged for efforts to fully tap forest advantages, improve local living standards, and protect the environment, while safeguarding political security and social order and maintain peace and stability for development.

On Thursday, the Party leader visited Kon Ro Bang 2 hamlet, Kon Tum city. Later the same day, he paid a working visit to Kon Tum Sugar Joint Stock Company in Kon Tum city.
