(VOVworld)-Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to Laos has been a great success, delivering important outcomes, said the Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations.

Speaking to reporters following Mr. Trong’s visit which concluded on Saturday, Mr. Hoang Binh Quan noted that the leaders of Vietnam and Laos described the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity as an invaluable asset and an indispensable factor for national construction and defense of the 2 countries. Mr. Quan said orientations agreed upon during the visit will create the momentum for further cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. Consensus on regional and international issues will also help the 2 countries tighten collaboration in the international arena, particularly in multilateral forums, Mr. Quan added.
